📖 The Gospel

Before the Passover feast, Jesus rises from supper, ties a towel around His waist, and begins to wash His disciples' feet. Peter protests, “You will never wash my feet.” Jesus says, “If I do not wash you, you have no share with me.” Then Jesus says, "Do you understand what I have done? I have given you an example. As I have done, so you must do.

🙏 Reflection

The God of the universe got down on His knees tonight and washed dirty feet. Think about that for a moment. The hands that formed the stars untied sandals and cleaned the dust of the road off twelve sets of feet, including the feet of the man who would betray Him and the man who would deny Him. He knew. He washed them anyway.

And then He took the bread and broke it and said, this is my body given up for you. He took the cup and said, "This is my blood poured out for you. Do this in memory of me. Two thousand years later, we still do it. Every single Mass, at the altar, Jesus gives Himself to us. The same Jesus who got down on His knees for love of us.

Tonight, the Church enters the sacred Triduum, the three holiest days of the year. The tabernacle will be emptied after Mass. The altars stripped bare. The bells will fall silent until Easter. Walk into this night with everything you have.

🌟 HOLY WEEK CHALLENGE - Wash Someone's Feet
Not literally, unless you want to, and that would be amazing, actually.

Today's challenge is to perform one concrete act of humble service for someone who cannot repay you. Not a grand gesture. Something small and real and beneath you by the world's standards. Make someone's coffee. Clean something nobody notices. Help someone who slows you down. Write a note to someone who needs to hear they matter.

Do it without mentioning it to anyone. No spotlight on you, do not post anything, in fact, as best as you can, do not tell a soul, and try your best to make this a habit, even once a month, or once a week; step out in faith and do something extraordinary for someone in secret every single day. Pray about that.

📿 Rosary - The Sorrowful Mysteries

Focus: The Agony in the Garden

After supper, Jesus went to the garden. After washing their feet and giving them His body and blood, He went alone into the dark and sweat blood and asked if the cup could pass. Tonight, after Mass, if you can, stay and watch with Him one more hour before the altar. He asked for that once. Jesus is still asking.

🌹 Our Lady of Fatima

Our Lady asked for the Eucharist to be honored and received worthily; it was central to her Fatima message. She understood what was given at that first table in the upper room. Tonight, receive the Eucharist at the Mass of the Lord's Supper with fresh eyes, as if it is the first time, as if it is the last time, as if everything depends on it. Because in a very real sense, it does.

🕊️ Closing Prayer

Lord Jesus, You got down on Your knees for me tonight. You broke the bread and poured the cup for me. I receive it all, the towel, the table, the garden, with everything I have. Thank You. Amen.
